Everything You Need to Know Before Booking

How much does board and train cost?

Every dog is different, so pricing depends on the program length and your dog's specific needs. Programs range from 2 to 6+ weeks. Call (209) 247-1193 or book a free evaluation and we'll give you an exact quote based on your dog's situation. no pressure, no commitment.

Where does my dog stay during board and train?

Your dog stays in our home not a kennel, not a facility. They live with us, eat with us, and train in real-world environments. This is exactly why the training transfers back to your home. Your dog learns how to behave in a real house, not a concrete run.

What does a typical day look like for my dog?

Your dog's day includes structured training sessions, socialization, exercise, place time, and rest all integrated into a real home environment. They're not sitting in a crate between sessions. They're learning to be calm, well-mannered, and responsive throughout a normal day. You'll receive daily photo and video updates so you can see the progress firsthand.

Will you send me updates while my dog is here?

Yes. You'll receive daily photos and videos showing your dog's progress. We know how hard it is to be away from your dog. Our updates give you peace of mind and let you see the transformation happening in real time.

Will my dog listen to ME after board and train?

Yes. When you pick up your dog, you'll go through a hands-on go-home session where your trainer walks you through everything your dog learned. You'll practice together until you feel confident. Within the first week, you'll come back for a follow-up session. And with lifetime support, you can reach out anytime you have questions down the road.

What if the training doesn't work?

We've never had a dog that didn't improve. Every program includes a go-home session, a follow-up session, and lifetime support specifically to make sure the results stick. If you're consistent with what we teach you, the training lasts. That's the difference between what we do and a group class that sends you home with a handout.

Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?

Yes. We have a dedicated Reactive and Aggressive Rehab program for dogs dealing with reactivity, aggression, or resource guarding. These cases require an in-person evaluation first so we can assess your dog's triggers and build the right plan. Call (209) 247-1193 to schedule.

What age does my dog need to be?

We accept puppies as young as 8 weeks for our Puppy Foundations program and dogs of any age for our other board and train programs. It's never too early and never too late to start training.

What training methods do you use?

The training approach is tailored to your dog's temperament, breed, and specific challenges. The goal is always clear communication between you and your dog that leads to reliable, real-world obedience. Your trainer will explain the full approach during your free evaluation.
