Refund policy
1. Scope
This policy applies to:

All dog training services booked through K9 Courage.

Any physical merchandise purchased (see Section 3).
By scheduling a session or purchasing a package, you agree to the terms herein and in your signed training agreement.
2. Refunds & Cancellations for Dog Training Services

Cancellation Window
- We generally do not offer refunds if the service has already been completed.
- However, if you contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled training session to cancel, we may offer a full or partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may not qualify for a refund.

No Refunds for Completed or Scheduled Services

Once a session has started or been completed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Refunds will not be granted for sessions that are already on the calendar, regardless of attendance, unless canceled in accordance with our notice policy (see below).

Multi-session packages are non-refundable once the first session has taken place or the agreement has been signed.
Cancellation Notice Requirement

You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 48 hours' notice to avoid being charged.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be forfeited and are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.

No-call, no-shows are considered completed sessions and are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
Package Policy

Unused sessions in a package are not transferable, refundable, or extendable past their contracted timeframe.

Each training package has an expiration date listed in the signed agreement.

Contractual Agreements
- All customers must sign our dog training agreement/contract, which outlines the scope of services, fees, cancellation terms, and liability waivers, among other important points. In the event of any conflict between that agreement and this Policy, the contract will prevail.

Exceptional Circumstances
- We recognize that unforeseen events (e.g., emergencies) may arise. If you believe your situation warrants an exception to the above policies, please contact us at support@k9couragedogtraining.com as soon as possible so we can discuss and come to a fair resolution.
3. Return & Refund Policy for Physical Merchandise
If you do not sell any physical products at this time, you can retain this section for future use or remove it entirely.

30-Day Return Policy
- You have 30 days after receiving a physical item to request a return.

Eligibility
- Items must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn or unused, with tags, and in original packaging.
- You’ll also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

Initiating a Return
- To start a return, contact us at support@k9couragedogtraining.com.
- We will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
- Please do not send items back without first requesting a return; such returns will not be accepted.

Return Shipping
- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label (if applicable), along with instructions on how to send your package.

Damages and Issues
- Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and strive to make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
- Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (food, flowers, plants), custom or personalized products, personal care goods (beauty products), and hazardous materials (flammable liquids or gases).
- Sale items or gift cards are typically non-returnable.
- If you have questions about the return eligibility for a specific item, contact us before purchasing.

Exchanges
- The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the original item (once the return is accepted) and then make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
- If the merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.
- The item must still be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Refunds
- Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we will notify you regarding your refund approval. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
- Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.
- If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at support@k9couragedogtraining.com.
